Getting married in Nijmegen
A day you will never forget
Congratulations, you have decided to get married. There is still a lot to arrange, the ceremony, the guest list, the wedding dress and of course the venue.
De Hemel is an official wedding venue in Nijmegen. The ceremony can take place here, you and your guests do not have to go to the town hall first. Ceremony, reception, dinner, party and staying over, all at one address in a monastery building from 1196.

A nice wedding tip. The Sint Nicolaaskapel on the Valkhof in Nijmegen is the oldest stone building in our country still in use for its original purpose. A ceremony there and the rest of the day at De Hemel brings the oldest places in the city together on your special day.
Sleeping in the building
Two suites, sleeping in the Hemel
The bridal couple sleeps in the old electricity house of the Commanderie van Sint Jan. The rest of the party we accommodate in hotels within walking distance in the centre.

What your guests taste comes from this house
In this building beer is brewed, coffee is roasted, chocolate is made, mustard is milled and vinegar is matured. The difference lies in the people who make it and who welcome you.
Hospitality since
Uda and count Alardus already welcomed pilgrims and the sick here.

Where can our guests park?
In the car parks in the centre of Nijmegen, from there it is about a five minute walk. See the directions.
Do you take allergies, vegetarian and vegan into account?
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan are on the menu as standard, allergies we arrange in advance.
Can we pay in instalments?
