Come and taste beer in our Brouwerscafé! Specialty beers by Stadsbrouwerij de Hemel. The ground floor in our restaurant and the cellars house a brewery where several beers are brewed. We also distil various liquors and jenevers, based on our beers.

BEER TASTING IN THE BROUWERSCAFÉ

We serve these products, made by Stadsbrouwerij de Hemel and Distilleerderij de Geest, in the Brouwerscafé. In our café, you can enjoy these artisanally prepared products. Fully experience the beer with a Hemelse or Helse Proeverij: you will then get to taste 6 or 10 small tasting glasses of draft beers, accompanied by an explanation. In the Brouwerscafé, we serve 10 home-brewed beers, which makes us the only brewery in the Netherlands which brews so many home-brewed beers.

DRINKS, LUNCH, HIGH TEA AND DINNER

It’s also possible to lunch and dine with us. For larger groups (8 persons and up), we serve special lunch menus and offer arrangements in collaboration with the Brouwerij (with a guided tour), Koffiebranderij de Hemel and Chocobreak (workshops). Aside from our home-made products and lunches, it is of course also possible to just simply enjoy a cup of “Holy Beans Coffee” after shopping or a nice glass of wine in the evening hours.

CLOCK EN ADA BREEDVELD

The café features a remarkable sight: the clock, which has been especially made for De Hemel. The clock is powered by an antique English clock mechanism and the clock face is a work of art made by Ada Breedveld.
